What we collect
When you use the calculator we store the answers you give (city, home type, house price, rent, savings, years, scenario) together with the resulting verdict. If you unlock the full report we also store your email address and your consent.
Why we collect it
To deliver your report and, only with your explicit consent, to connect you with a rental specialist when renting is the better choice for you. We do not forward your data to any mortgage adviser, if you want to speak to an Expat Mortgages adviser, you contact them yourself.
Payments
Payment for the full report (€49) is handled by our payment provider. RentOrBuy never sees or stores your card details.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Disclosure
This tool is built and operated by Expat Mortgages. The rent-vs-buy calculation itself is product-neutral, but the tool is not a neutral third-party platform: if buying looks smarter we point you to an Expat Mortgages adviser. You always choose whether to contact them.
